Save The Black Labs!
It wasn't until my previous entry that I realised that I can directly import pictures into my blog without the hassle of using another external programme, which was what it used to be like when I first started blogging. I was fortunately enlightened by a friend ( can't remember who exactly, but thanks) who is obviously more IT savvy than me.
Victoria sent me an sms all the way from Australia on Friday regarding some abandoned Labrador pups to be adopted; if nobody adopts them they'll be put to sleep. Apparently no animal shelters could accommodate them due to space constraints. Initially I was quite surprised that anyone would abandon them when you can just sell them off somewhere. I looked at the pictures she sent me and I'm thinking that if nobody wants them they'll be put to sleep.
I wish I could adopt one of them, if not all. I always wanted a Labrador or retriever in black. But my oppressive parents are totally against it; both of them don't want to bear the maintenance cost (which they jolly well know they have to. Hur hur). There's also the issue of company for the pup in the day time especially since my apartment is practically empty for most part of the day. Oh well.
On a side note, initially I thought the pups were in Australia because Victoria sms me all the way from there. But I got a piece of her mind after that: Why the hell would I tell you about the pups if they're in Australia! They are in Singapore!
Just so anyone needs to know, the pups are probably going to be put to sleep if there are no claims on them in the next 3-5 days if I'm not wrong.
